Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Paraná (2015), and former visiting researcher at the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology Division (2014). Professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2018), coordinator of the VISIA Lab (2022), and coordinator of the Computer Engineering Program (2026). His research interests include Digital Image Processing, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and applications involving Artificial Intelligence. |
| Professor Dr. Fabricio de Oliveira Ourique

Holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico (2005), in the United States. Served as Associate Professor III at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2012). His research activities focus on Digital Signal and Image Processing, as well as Real-Time Control Systems. Dr.Ourique is currently a professor at the Queen Mary University of London. |
