Call for Positions LSIIM 03/25
Dear Researchers and Academic Community,
The Laboratory of Signals, IoT, and Images (LSIIM) was founded at the end of 2022 and develops R&D in partnership with technology companies, drone manufacturers, and government agencies.
We would like to publicly announce this call for the selection of research fellows in the areas of 3D Reconstruction/Modeling, Computer Vision, and Back-End Development. Interested candidates should submit their résumé and an undergraduate transcript summary to the email address <a.sobieranski@ufsc.br> with the subject line: “LSIIM Call 03/25 Position Profile #1”, “LSIIM Call 03/25 Position Profile #2”, “LSIIM Call 03/25 Position Profile #3” or “LSIIM Call 03/25 Volunteer Position Profile #4.”
For all fellowship positions, the workload is 20 hours per week, to be carried out at the LSIIM Laboratory, Jardim das Avenidas, Room A301, UFSC-Araranguá. Candidates selected for the next stage will be notified by email. We strongly recommend that applicants include in their résumé a list of previous projects (personal, academic, or professional) related to the field, as this can demonstrate their skills and experience, thereby strengthening their application.
Students holding scholarships in other research or extension projects at DEC are not eligible. To apply, they must terminate their current scholarship before submitting their application.
The activities for all positions will start on October 1st, 2025, with a duration (for scholarship profiles) until March 2027 (subject to a further 12-month category adjustment, depending on performance).
