Dear Researchers and Academic Community,

The LSIIM (www.lsiim.ufsc.br), the Laboratory for Signals, IoT, and Images, was established in late 2022 and conducts research and development in partnership with technology companies, drone manufacturers, and governmental agencies.

We are pleased to announce this public call for the selection of research fellows in the fields of Computational Intelligence (Image and Vision) and Backend+AI development. Applicants should submit their curriculum vitae and an academic transcript summary to a.sobieranski@ufsc.br, using the subject line:  “Chamada LSIIM 02/25 Vaga Perfil #1”, “Chamada LSIIM 02/25 Vaga Perfil #2”.

All positions require a workload of 20 hours per week, to be carried out at the LSIIM Laboratory, Jardim das Avenidas, Room A301, UFSC–Araranguá. Candidates selected for the next stage will be contacted via email. We strongly encourage applicants to include in their CV a list of projects related to Backend and/or Image and Computer Vision, whether personal, academic, or professional. This practice may highlight their skills and experience, thereby strengthening their application.

The start date for activities is September 1st, 2025, with an initial duration of 10 months. Continuation for both positions will depend on the researcher’s performance.
